International Women's Day

International Women's Day has been observed since in the early 1900's, a time of great expansion and turbulence in the industrialized world that saw booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies.
1908Great unrest and critical debate was occurring amongst women. Women's oppression and inequality was spurring women to become more vocal and active in campaigning for change. Then in 1908, 15,000 women marched through New York City demanding shorter hours, better pay and voting rights.
1909In accordance with a declaration by the Socialist Party of America, the first National Woman's Day (NWD) was observed across the United States on 28 February. Women continued to celebrate NWD on the last Sunday of February until 1913.

Doodling - Great art!!!

Normally, we produce doodle in an idle moment while the focus of our attention is elsewhere but our class had a chance to do doodling intentionally last Friday without concentrating on any other factors around us. You freely created your doodling with shapes, patterns, drawings or scribbles and inspired them to a vivid illustration or lively specific objects. Most of you did a good job at doodling but some still learn more how to draw things quickly by hand.

After taking a look at your works last week, I picked some outstanding artists here for you to contemplate. Their works are wonderful, emotive and expressive. They doodled in an artistic insight.

First of all, Youn Jae is a really good sample. She knows how to inspire her dooling to a specific image which can tell us what is going on with that doodling. Moreover, the tone values in a picture is very good, too. Geun Hye, Ji Eun and Se Keon are also good ones. They created doodle, and turned it into fine arts.

You have just taken a look at your friends’ doodling art. Now your turn, try to make a better one than the one you doodled before. But just do it when you acctually have free time or when you feel boring of something. Doodling is the good way of relieving your boredom or frustration and especially showing someone's mind works.

my favourite foods

My favourite foods is the korean fastfood.such as Teok Bok Gi,Gim bab,Ho Teok...

Those are can find in 'Bun sik jum'(like foodconer). When i was in Korea, during the academic break, I usually ate Those food. Because, Those food is cheap, the most expensive one is about $3. I usually ate Gimbab with korean instant noodle.That's a good combination!

I love Korean food, i like to eating them and those are delicious!

detention

Every time i fell my spelling and dictation test or verb test i have to go for detention at luch time for a weekand sit outside the staff room. If after one week of detention but I keep felling the test then i have to keep going for detention. When i go for detention last week i bought a pack colaand when Miss Serene saw it she asked me to throw it away, my friend Vinh also bought a pack of cola but Miss Serene didn't see it so he don't have to throw it away. But when Miss Tram came there is a boy that also sit for detention like us and he tell MissTram about Vinh hidding his pack of cola and when Miss Tram saw it she asked Vinh to throw it away.

The week with Champion league

 This week, the 1/8 of the Champion league was played. The matches were at Tuesday night and Wednesday night. Although I had to go to school the next days but I tried to watch these matches. I set the alarm clock at 2:30a.m because the matches began at 2:45a.m. I hoped I could wake up on time because my alarm clock is usually useless for me. But I woke up naturally at 2:15a.m without the alarm clock. The reason why I wanted to watch it to much is my favorite club would played and they visited  the other good club from Italia, Inter Milan. I switched on the TV and they were warming up before the match. Then, I felt sleepy so I walked downstair to get something to eat and to get me awake. I got a can of Coke and some chocolates. I got back to my bed room and the matched was began. My favorite team, MU, had played well in the first half but the couldn't score. On the second half, the match became more balance both were attacking very well. But both goalkeepers, Julio Cesar from Inter and Van der Sar from M.U had got a great games. The most dangerous situation was came from M.U but Park Ji Sung had missed it. The match finished with the 0-0 draw at around 4:30a.m. Then, I heard my mom opened the door. I switched off the TV immediately. I lay down and waited until my mom went downstair to cook. I planned to pretend that I woke up early and went down. But after lay down for a moment i slept away randomly. And I woke up I got so scare because it already 8:00. I got change quickly and ran down. But my mom still scolded at me so much but I just put it aside and had some breakfast. I still got school on time. So lucky!

MTV Video Music Award 2008

MTV-Music Television, MTV is a chanel born in U.S from August 1st,1981. Every year MTV celebrate a show to give out award to the singers or a bands the best albums and songs of the year.

This year 2009, MTV celebrate a show to look back the previous year to find out who is the best albums and songs of the year. In the show, there is alot of famous candidate like: Pink, Akon, Madona, Jonas Brother, Chris Brown, The Pussy Cat Doll, Britney Spears, .....

All that singers and bands try to sing their best to show the examiner what they got. The examiner was confused because each of them are as good as each other. The examiner took long time to tell who the winner. They has chose Britney Spears for the best album 'Circus' and the best song 'Womanizer'. The spectators and of course Britney Spears was very surprise because Britney Spears has dissappear for a long time and now she still the top. How wonderful she are, she also deserve the nick name people usually call ' The Princess Of The Pop '. I like her alot, don't you. I also expect her to win another many year.

FA Cup-England Oldest Football Cup

FA Cup is the oldest Football tournament in England. It was first held in 1871.FA Cup stand for "The Football Association Challenge Cup".It run by and named after The Football Association.It involves all standard club to play against each other.It has 762 teams in this tournament now.This is a knock-out compettition.There are a total  14 rounds in the competition.Involve six qualifying rounds, followed by six further rounds, semi-finals, and the final. The competition begins in August with the Extra Preliminary Round, followed by the Preliminary Round and First Qualifying Round, which are contested by the lowest-rank clubs.The FA Cup has a set pattern for when each round is played. Normally the First Round is played in mid-November, with the Second Round on one of the first two Saturdays in December. The third round is played on the first weekend in January, with the Fourth Round later in the month and Fifth Round in mid-February. The Quarter Final traditionally held in early or in March, with the semi-finals a month later. The final is normally held the Saturday after the Premier League season finish in May. As well as being present with the trophy, the winning team also qualifies for the UEFA CUP . Beginning with the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Cup place will be given to the highest finish Premier League team that has not qualified for The European competition if the winner of the FA Cup has already qualified.

The current Champion of the FA Cup 2008 is Portsmouth after it defeated Cardiff City 1-0 in FA Cup Final 2008.And the most succesful team now is Manchester United.
