International Woman's Day (IWD) is on 8 of march every year. It is a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements for women everywhere.

The day is an official holiday in these countries. Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Brazil, Fa so, Cameroon, China, Cuba, Georgia, Italy, Israel, Laos, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Zambia.

It is observed by where men giving the women in their lives (mothers, wives, girlfriends, daughters, etc) flowers and small gifts. In some countries (Romania and ETC.) it is also observed as an equivalent of Mother's Day, where children also give small presents to their mothers

and grandmothers.

I think this is a day where women all around the world get appreciated for the hard work they have done.

The International Women's Day is known as a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women. It had started since 1911. However, it was held on 19 March until 1913. Before that, there were some people who had tried to made up this day but they have all failed from about 1900 to 1911.
Now International Women's Day is marked as a national day in China, Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.After all, this is a special for women. I don't know what to say but i think they deserve to have this day. :)
