International Women's Day
As you know that on every 8th March is the International Women's Day (IWD). On this day, boys and men usually give simple gift to girls and women, such as roses. Do you know that there is a history about this day? Through the internet, I found that ...
The International Women's Day is known as a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women. It had started since 1911. However, it was held on 19 March until 1913. Before that, there were some people who had tried to made up this day but they have all failed from about 1900 to 1911. Now International Women's Day is marked as a national day in China, Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. After all, this is a special for women. I don't know what to say but i think they deserve to have this day. :)
