Parents day!

Today is parents day in here they seperate the date like mother day and father day.


But in korea 8 May is parents day. In parents day we give carnation to parents. So I want to introduce about carnation.

The tradition: Mrs.jabis who lived in a small villege named wavestar in the USA had rescued like mother by all children in the church of the villege.suddenly, when Mrs. jabis was dead, the students gathered for paid tribute to the memory of her, her daughter Anna took a bunch of flowers in hers house field ,and she offered her morter's mark.Every year this party was countinued, so finally many people follow this, in 1980, siattle selected this day'mother's day' and started the partyAfter that , in USA selected may second sunday, for 'mother's day' in formalSo, this day made the tradition that, in the house where mother lived had red carnation, and the other house that mother not lived had white carnation.In Korea , We selected may eight for 'mother's day', in 1973, it changed for 'parent's day'
