Social Studies

On Friday, we need to hand our project in to teacher. We finished drawing already. But we don't know how to write information. We asked Ms.Tram. She said use a paper. So we did, however, teacher doesn't like it so we redo it. But teacher doesn't like it. So we continued. Finally we handed in. This project was the most tired project.

PS3 new wand

Sony has shown off a highly accurate motion controller and camera system that it plans to launch next spring for the PlayStation 3.

Players hold a wand that allows them to see images of themselves holding virtual objects such as tennis rackets or weapons.

This is an amazing thing PS3 can now do. I wish I can get this.

The exam is finished

This week we had examination. English, Science, Maths, Vietnamese. I studied for a week to have a good mark. This week, I could not watch TV, playing and chatting with my friends. But now from Friday, I can watch TV, Playing and chatting with my friends because the exam is finished. Actually, not all exam is not finished. Only oral exam did not do. I was really excited like I released from studying prison. I hope I had a good mark.

Is it suitable time to say goodbye SIS?

I'm not sure about continue to study in SIS. My father thought that he would change school. I don't like his thought because I like this school. It's better than other schools I have been learnt before. All my friends in this school are quite different. They are generous, kind. They helped me whenever I'm in bad conditions. But sometimes, they make me crazy and then I shout at them. Just 4 more weeks, I have to go! I tried to entreat him but he did not change what he thought. I cried when he said that. I felt so confused. I don't know how to explain with my friends. I did not promise that I will stay here but they will think that I'm not a good friend. It's nearly to say goodbye with all guys in Y6 Int'l. I will remember all of you even I never communicate with you! i will remember SIS. I promise that when I'm gone, I will return.

childrens day

on monday, it was children's day.....i liked the clown and the magician the most( they were the best)i wish that they were the only show.

but, i liked the activities during the rest of the day, but at home, i was so tired that i was stuck to the bed......what a tireful day!

The human interaction system is possible with Natal (a compyter person). The system is being developed for the Xbox 360.It monitors and reacts precisely to the player's movements and the way they talk.Microsoft demonstrated Natal at the start of the E3 gaming conference in Los Angeles.

I am sick

On Thursday, I thought I had a cold. But I was not sure so I just went to school. However, I felt dizzy. Also, I could feel cold like freezing. Ji Seog told me to go to first aid room so I went. They gave medicine. I ate it and felt better but still dizzy. So I told teacher. Teacher let me go to home. My mother told me to lie down and sleep. At 5 o'clock, my teacher came. He has been a docter. My mother and neighbour worried that I have a swine flu. But fortunately, he said I do not have swine flu. We were happy. On Saturday, I feel better. I hope I would be healthy.

Unfortune weekend

I think this weekend is the worst week. Because on Saturday, my finger got injured that is difficult to move and now I'm writing this hardly. It was really hurt but I didn't treat it because my mother said it is okay. But it is really hurt.
On Sunday, at 7 o'clock I went to Grand View to play my friend. We were playing soccer and handball. I want to be goalkeeper ,and throw the ball but I can't because of my finger. When I was playing a small ball hit my glasses ,and my glasses fell down. I was going to pick it up but my friend stepped on it. Suddenly, everybody was quiet. My friend was nervous and looked at me. I said that let's go home so I went to my home. My family worried about studying. And until now we didn't decide. So I worried about tomorrow.

The International Children's Day begin in Turkey on 23 April 1920 and later in the World Conference for the Well-being of Children in Geneva and Switzerland in 1925. It is not clear as to why June 1 was chosen as the International Children's Day: one theory has it that the Chinese consul-general in San Francisco gathered a number of Chinese orphans to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in 1925.It happened to be on June 1 that year, and also coincided with the conference in Geneva.

Children's Day was first celebrated worldwide in October 1955, under the sponsorship of International Union for Child Welfare in Geneva. The idea of a Universal Children's Day was mooted by Rubab Mansoor. He was in grade 8 and adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1954. Moazzem and Abass helped and contributed a lot in this. Universal Children's Day takes place on November 20 annually. First proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1954, it was established to encourage all countries to institute a day, firstly to promote mutual exchange and understanding among children and secondly to initiate action to benefit and promote the welfare of the world's children.

When is it celebrated ?

Children's Day is celebrated on 1 June each year. It is usually marked with speeches on children's rights and wellbeing, children TV programs, parties, various actions involving or dedicated to children, families going out and others. Children’s day is celebrated to appreciate children for the hard work they had done.
In Malaysia (my country), Children's Day is celebrated on the last Saturday of October annually. Primary schoolchildren normally go to school on this day to celebrate Children's Day. The schools that are involved would also organise numerous activities for their pupils. In Vietnam, Children's Day is celebrated on June 1 as ICD and on the full moon of the 8th lunar month during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

I was fighting with a boy in Y8 Int'd on Friday

His name's Truong Minh, he is in Y8 Int'd. First, he went inside my class. He did some acts like a fool. Then he came near my desk. I drove him out of my class because he hit my friends previous day. He went out. After 5 minutes late, he went back to my class with a furious face. He had bad words with me. I stood up and smack him. We argued and he kick me first, I stroke back with bad words, too. I hated him when he hit my friends. Nobody like him even his classmates. He was a naughty boy. I think he is a gay. His acts were not okay in teacher's eyes. We were fighting until my friends come. They stopped us. His classmates were angy about that then one girl in his class dropped her Pepsi-can into his clothes. He was getting mad and fighting back. He hold her hair. They had bad words with each other. Boys should not hit girls. But he hit me, his friends. My teacher sent him to Madam Minh. He had no more words to say with us, I hope he knows what mistake did he made. He would be apologize to us. I did not want to fight with him. But I was angry at that time then I stroke back. I would be apologize to him.

the match between arsenal and chelsea was very exciting and surprising. chealsea won thanks to drogba who had scored the last goal of the match in the 84th min. the goal was very nice.
i think that if chelsea keeps on playing like that, they will be the first for a very long time.

S. Koreans Bid Farewell to Former President

"We have gathered here today to bid goodbye to former President Roh Moo-hyun who spent his life fighting for human rights, democracy and the end of authoritarianism," Prime Minister Han Seung-soo was quoted as saying by Yonhap News Agency in his memorial address at Gyeongbok Palace. FA cup final

Next week on 30th of May will be the final of Chelsea vs Everton. Chelsea is my favourite team so i wish that they could win this tittle for their team. I expected them to play well without Drogba and Bosingwa because they suspend for 3 match. Neither me and Chelsea fan still feel sad when they can't get ticket to final in Champion League. We, Chelsea fan want that they can get at lease a cup this year.

On Saturday, the 16th president of Korea had killed himself. The president had one bodyguard. He wanted to climb a mountain so he went to a mountain. The bodyguard also. When he almost reached the top of mountain, he said that there was a lot of people are climbing. He went a cliff that called owl cliff. He asked his bodyguard for a cigarette so the bodyguard started finding. However, he looked down and fell down! The cliff looks like a normal but it was too dangerous that everybody do not go there. The bodyguard took him to hospital but he was died already. Every body was so sad. He was a kind man. He like environment and good attitude. All of politician went to the prsident and cried. Also, the 17th president cancell all of meeting even EU meeting. Everybody went to streets, and cried. My family was disappointed.

But whilst many eyes at the facility will be locked on the goal of satisfying humanity's energy demands, many scientists hope to answer other fundamental questions to mankind better improve.

First and foremost, NIF has been built for national security purposes, to study the conditions that exist in nuclear explosions and the way that nuclear weapons perform which are very dangerous.

Then, they can study the physics of fusion - can you make a fusion power plant here on our planet? And we can do basic physics and planetary science.

When this is done we will be able to understand the secreat of the universe and the future will be near if they are able to make their own star.

Final Champion League

Next Thursday morning is a final Champion League between my favourite football club Manchester United and Barcelona. The winner in this match will be the champion of Europe. If Manchester wins, it will be the first club which sucess in protecting this cup. I hope Manchester will win.

I want to have lots of friends. In Y6 Int'l, Na Young was the first Korean wants to make friend with me! I'm glad to be her friend. She always pick me to join her group. She started to make friend with me by she try to spell my name, she introduced herself with me, she let me spell her name. Na Young, Ngoc, Nhu are nice girls. I like them. They helped me a lot. If they helped me, I will help them. I want to be friend with all guys in Y6 Int'l. I hope they do not hate me!

The symptoms of this disease is chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headaches, coughing, weakness and discomfort.

Korean Woman Scales 11th of 14 Himalaya Peaks

Oh Eun-sun, 43, of Korea have moved a step closer to becoming the first woman in the world to climb the 14 peaks of the Himalaya as she successfully scaled the 8167-meter-high Dhaulagiri, the seventh highest, Thursday. This is her 11th conquest of the peaks, in 15 days after climbing of the 8,586m Kangchenjunga, the third highest on May 6. " Oh successfully climbed the seventh highest peak without oxygen," said a spokesman of mountaineering outfit maker Blackyak, she belongs to. She is competing with two others - Spaniard Edurne Pasaban, 36, and Australia's Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, 38, both of whom have scaled 12 peaks each. Oh struggled through cold wind for 12 hours from Camp 3 on 7,300 meters to foot the peak of Dhaulagiri, the spokesman said. She arrived at the base camp of Dhaulagiri on May 18, accumulating energy with Korean food, for the assault after climbing Kangchenjunga.

I still busy

I never have free time during holidays. I have to go anywhere with my family. I quite don't like go out with my family. Even I don't have enough time to do my work on time like I have to send my work for Ms.Carly on last Friday night but I haven't finish yet. Today is Monday but I haven't send my work. I will have detention. That is my fault. A lot of thing happened in each day. But it was not a simple problem to solve. Maybe next year I won't continue to go to school. It is a big big problem for me because I'm so busy with my family.

On Saturday, MU and Arsnal was vs again. The score was 0-0. It very luck. MU won and get the champon cup. It was so cool and very inteserting on it. It was the most happy day ever. It was my favourite team got the champion cup. ^_^ ! ! !

Cousin wedding

On Friday I went to Malaysia. I went back for my cousin wedding. On Saturday, I and my family went to the temple for the marriage. We waited for one hour for it to start. Almost everyone in my family came. The wedding was until about nine o’clock. I was starving. Then there was an Indian food buffet. Later we left. We came back today at 6 o’clock.

hurray!!! manchester united won the english league!!! It was their 18th premier league cup.
They earned it by drawing the match vs Arsenal(0-0). Both manu's defender and arsenal's defender were very good. that is why none of them could score!

A Day Of Soccer Training

After taking tuition on Saturday, I went with Quang and Khang to Thanh's house to have lunch.After lunch we play video games and at 2 o'clock I, Khang, Quang and Thanh left the house and go to SSIS to join the soccer training.When we was on our way, we buy shake milks and drank on the way to SSIS.When we arrive there, we signed up and then warm up.After warm up we were divided in to 3 teams.Our coach teach us to do corner, shield the ball and some funny tricks!After training for a long while, my team with Quy Duc (He arrived late) play some match against 2 other teams.It was very fun!

My favourite football club Manchester United won the 18th Premier League cup by drawing 0-0 with Arsenal. I watched that matched and it was very interesting but I felt very nervous because Arsenal played better that Manu on that match. But they couldn't score because M.U's defender and Van Der Sar played very well. I think it is a wonderful match.

These day, the disease called 'si' is prevalent. It started in Mexico first. And people who had visited Mexico took ariplane and went back to their country and carry disease. Finally, the patients increase very much. Now, the si patients are over 6000 people. There are Korean too. When I heard this news, I was so suprised. I never thought about patients in Korea. And after few days, I thought about patients in Vietnam. Today, I heard about patients in Vietnam from my friend. She told that there were eight patients in Vietnam aleady. I don't want to die. I don't want to die.....

It is the happy day

On Saturday, i and my brothers were watching TV. There was LIV vs West Ham. At 1 minute, Gerrard (in LIV) was score 1-0. A few minutes later, Gerrard ( in LIV ) was score 2-0. At the nearest times at the end of times. Suddenly, Benayoun ( in LIV ) was score it 3-0. My brothers were so happy and run around house and scream loudly he said "Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool".Then my parents came home. we ran fast to our room and slept.

On saturday I and my father played billiards in Lotte Mart. My father is very good at playing billiards so I think carefully and focus on the game so I won the match. My father got angry so next game he played carefully. I got nervous because he played very well. The ball left 2 balls each. We did not talk each other and only focus on game. Finally, the game finished. The result was very good. I won again! My father said that I played very well. That time I felt that today is very good day. I want to defeat father again.

When was the first Mother's Day?

In 1907 Anna persuaded her mother's church in Grafton, West Virginia to celebrate Mother's Day on the second anniversary of her mother's death, the 2nd Sunday of May. By the next year, 1908, Mother's Day was also celebrated in Philadelphia.

In 1910 the first Mother's Day proclamation was issued by the governor of West Virginia. Oklahoma celebrated Mother's Day that year also. By 1911 every state observed Mother's Day. Saturday

On Saturday, I went to SSIS(Saigon South International School) to have some training about football. I was with Thanh, Khang, Quy Duc and Quang. When we arrived there, it was raining. The rain was too heavy so we did some stretching in some place where rain couldn't fall. After stretching, we all ran to the field even though it was raining. As we reached the field, the coach said there will be two teams. I was in the 1st team with Quang. As we grouped ourselves, we started training. Our coach said we were going to practice passing and shooting. At first, it was individual. After some time, the coach said to form groups of two. So I grouped with Quang. During the training, I slipped a lot. My pants were so wet. It was because I didn't wear spike shoes. After the training finished, we took 5 and grouped again. By that time, the coach was different. The training with the new coach was quite fun. The whole thing was about offence and diffence. After finishing the second, we took 1 and grouped. The groups were the same. It was finally what I wanted, a match. Our team won by 6-4. I was quite happy about that. After that, we played again with our ball and went home.

May's House

Yesterday, I went to the May's house. She moved her house during term vacation.
Her house and her parents are very nice! I met her friend. She looks very cute and
nice! I rode a bicycle. It was ver cold because whne I rode a bicycle, it was raining!
When I came back home, I took a shower and went to the bed! Soooooo noce day~!!:-)

mother's day

today is mother's day! In the morning, after waking up i went into my parents' room. They were both still sleeping. Then i went to my school bag and took out the mother's day card i made during the art lesson. While waiting for my mom to wake up i listened to music on my ipod for about 45 min.

When she woke up, i went into her room and gave it to her. she was sooooooooo happy.(after all i can't even remember the last thing I've given her!). And now she's being so kind to me. lol!!

UK swine flu genetics unravelled

The first genetic code of swine flu from European samples has been unravelled by UK researchers.
The Health Protection Agency has also announced it has now shared isolates of the UK virus with scientists working on a vaccine against the strain.
It will enable researchers to compare the virus affecting humans in Europe with that in Mexico and the US and look at the immune reaction it causes.
Researchers at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had already made genetic information on the swine flu virus publicly available to scientists around the world.

A trip to Laos

As you know, my family went to Laos the last week.I was very excited!When I get there, it was very hot.My aunt and cousin came to welcome us at the airport.When we got to our grandmother's home, they were very happy.We ate dinner and all of the members in our big family came to welcome us.We didn't sleep until 12 o'clock!!!
We went to visit alot of places like That Luong, a stream and alot more.Because it was very hot so we stayed in our car and take a short nap after we went to visit places in the middle of the day.After a few days when we arrive, Laos celebrate New Year!It was very fun. Its tradition is splashing water to anyone that you meet, even strangers.Lucky us, we stayed in our car!!!First day of Laos New Year, we went to visit 9 temples and pagodas.It was hot and very exhausted.(Temperature inside house in 40 degrees Celcius!)
A week seem to be fast.We said goodbye to our grandparents. My grandmother cried when we left.Poor her!I want to visit Laos again next year if I can!

Dog race in Vung Tau

Once again I spent my holiday in Vung Tau. I went to the dog race. I found it to be very exciting and I think that it is among the attractions of Vung Tau.

There are many interesting things about dog race. First thing is the dogs. The race dogs are very muscular, wise and of course they run very fast. Unlike the home dogs, the race dogs are very natural, thus sometimes Ican see that they shit on the race! In addition to the dogs, the race is very exciting. We can't know which dog will win. The dog that starts very fast may be left behind during the race; while the other one that doesn't have an impressive begining may become the first to arrive at the stop. The suprise is amazing and thrilling. Last, but not least, we are allowed to bet about the result of the race. Last time, I went to the dog race with my uncle and my cousin. I borrowed 10,000 VND from my uncle to bet. Later I returned home with 150,000 VND! How happy and suprised I was!

If you had a chance, I highly recommend that you should try your luck and joy in the dog race.

Results

I did 6 examinations. I've got bad result from Physics. At that time, I didn't review carefully. But I've got good result from Technology, I've got 9,8/10. It's much better than Physics. I think I can change my result because of every test I always got high marks in Physics. I knew the result of Biology in the afternoon today. The result was worse than term 2. I've got 8,3/10 of the examination. In term 2 I've got 9,8/10. I always not focus during the examination time. Some of my classmates was not kept be quiet for anybody didn't finish their work. That's why I've got bad result of some subjects. I love Biology but I've got bad result of that. My teacher was disappointed. I have to try my best in the next examination on Monday and Tuesday. I want to be the first in my class like term 1 and 2. This is a third time I'm standing on the first kind of the class. I will try to get an excellent result at the end of the year!

Swine Flu Cases Worldwide Exceed 2,300

The World Health Organization said Thursday that 2,371 people in 24 countries now had confirmed cases of swine flu. Only 46 people are known to have died of the virus, all but 2 of them in Mexico.Scientists on Thursday described 11 cases of Americans who were infected before the current outbreak with swine flus that partly matched the new epidemic strain that emerged in Mexico in March. The first case was in December 2005.

In articles published online in The New England Journal of Medicine, virologists from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention described those cases, most of them in young people in the Midwest who touched or were near pigs. All had a “triple reassortant” virus that combined human, swine and avian flu genes.

3days and 2 nights Trip

On Thursday, we were busy to pack our bag for our trip. We were going to Vung Tau. We left from our home at 5:30 a.m. We reached Vung Tau at 12:00 p.m. We swim at swimming pool and beach. Waves were rough so it was exciting. However, it was so strong so I could not stand up because of the waves. Next day, We went out and eat fishes, and looking for a boat for play on swimming pool or beach. But we did not find it so we just played. On Saturday, we packed our bag and left from the hotel. We want to play more but we needed to go back our home and actually, I think that what we can play is only swimming. But it was interesting. All of us said that let's go to Vung Tau with our relatives.

Boring holidays

I'm having boring holidays. I can't go everywhere, I have to stay home and playing with my sisters. They are naughty girls. I need times to review for the test after holidays. But I can't study in my room. They yell, they throw my things, they drop my phone, my watch. I told my aunt that she has to bring them away just one day. I have to do my work. On Monday, I was busying at Long An. Then, I could not write blogger. Today, I have 20' free time to write blogger. After 20' I have to leave my room. I need to go far away from them. They made me feel stress. Every members in my family always busy. That's why I have boring holidays. I can't go out with them. Just stay at home and turn on the television or listen to music. Term break

From Thursday was on vacation. Finally it was vacation! I was really happy about term break. So on Thursday morning, I and my friends went to Lotte Mart for playing. And on Friday, I and my classmates went to Lotte Mart again. It was really exciting, funny and interesting. However, none of my friends except my classmates went to their school. That point makes me sad. But it is okay because we do not need to go to school.

Going to move apartment

On Tuesday I'm going to move my apartment. This is so exciting, I already packed my things and ready to go. However, I will miss Sky Garden. I live in Sky Garden for about 2 years already. It'll be so amazing.

Finally, now i don't need to share toilet with my parents and I don't need to share my room with anyone else. When we were living at Sky Garden, I can visit my friends' houses but it's hard to live in the apartment for me. It's too small. So, now i'm moving to a larger one but still the same prize.

I hope it will be a good future for me and my family. It's not so easy to visit my friends' houses when i'm going to live there, but my dad promised me that he will let me visit any of my friend's house. It's okay for me now and I am just so happy.

'US Won’t Bend to N. Korea’s Unpredictability'

The U.S. won't give in to North Korea's "unpredictable behavior" after Kim Jong Il's regime said it quit nuclear disarmament talks, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said, according to Bloomberg.The U.S. has made it clear it is prepared to resume the negotiations, also involving China, Russia, Japan and South Korea, Clinton told the House Foreign Affairs Committee in Washington Wednesday.

"The North Koreans have not demonstrated any willingness to resume the six-party process," Clinton was quoted as saying. "I think we have to be strong, patient, persistent and not give in to the kind of back-and-forth, the unpredictable behavior of the North Korean regime."

North Korea vowed to permanently quit the six-party talks last week after the United Nations condemned its April 5 test of a suspected ballistic missile. The communist state said it would resume reprocessing spent atomic fuel at its Yongbyon plant, the source of its weapons-grade plutonium, and consider building new reactors. Kim's government also expelled inspectors from the U.N.'s International Atomic Energy Agency.

On Friday morning, while watching the french news, I saw a fat old woman going on stage in the "Britain's got talent 2009 Episode 1". When I saw her, I was thinking about her age and my brother insulted her by saying " I think she is more than 80 years old". Then one of the judges asked " how old are you ,Susan? and she said that she was only 47 years old. We were all so surprised. But we were still thinking of what she could do. Suddenly she started singing the song " I dreamed a dream. Her voice was so awesome! My brother said she's better than he thought.

All the judges said that she did the best performance in 3 years.

Friday

On Friday, we had swimming competition but I did not participate because I got injured my left leg ,and actually, I do not want to swim. Maybe I hate swim because I do not like to be wet. It started at 10:45. At the biginning, I was exciting but when the time was going, I started to be boring so I played baseball with my friends. But the weather is very hot so I stopped playing baseball and went to lobby. There was no sunshine. We played baseball again at there. Nearly 1 o'clock, the competition had finished and went to lobby. Swimmer got their prize and we went to canteen for our lunch. I did not see the competition all but strangely, I felt that I watched the competition. Anyway, Friday was really tired day for me.

Electronic book readers are still a minority pursuit for book lovers, but the devices have the potential to become the norm one day.
With newspapers in crisis, there are now suggestions that e-books might offer journalism a new portable platform and subscription model.
One French firm already took the advantage of using the electronic subscription model is Ave (a brand)! Comics which provides cartoon strips to paying e-book users.

"Our idea is to get more cartoons to become more widely distributed to another public and in the end an international public," said Allison Reber from Ave! Comics.

Industries such as newspapers, magazines and books, even copyright-free content from Google, could benefit from the sale of text content as downloads.

Future platforms

Struggling newspapers could be offered a lifeline by the new format - especially as the devices' tech is developing to include colors and flexible displays.

The publishing industry, has given a nod to e-books by showcasing them in Paris's annual book fair, Salon du Livre, as a future digital platform.

But for those concerned about eye strain, screens such as the ones in iRex's iLiad and 1000S e-readers are made of e-ink which mimics the look of real paper.

Marie Lichtle from 4D Concept, iRex's distributor in France, said that e-books do not tire eyes like computer screens.

"It is really like reading traditional paper, but you can also enjoy all the interactivity of an electronic device," she added.

Swimming Competition and my book

Friday was the swimming competition day. I and Da Hye took may photographes. We took many funny photoes about Geun Hye and Quang and Ngoc. We took Thanh's funny photo. Thanh was eating glass. Quang's walking was like a model (or Cinderella). But there was not only funny. My sister cried a lot and Da Hye hitted by ball and she cried also. Her right eye turned around. So her eye was so red. The boy who hit Da Hye was Tim. He is Vietnamese and he didn't say to Da Hye until I said he hit her. I was so serious. Anyway, because of it, I and my friends could play whole school day.

And in silent reading time, I tried to find my book under my desk but I could not find. The book was secret garden. And it was a new book. I felt so strange. So I asked to Nhu who has a same book as me. Despite I found two books from her, she didn't say to me it was mine. I was so angry because I knew that was my book. During the Vietnamese lesson, I was so angry. So after Vietnamese lesson, I said to Nhu that was my book and she need to give me back my book angrily. And after I said, I saw two books in her locker. The old one was hers and the new one was mine. So she gave my book again. I felt so bad. I really upset.

Swimming competition

On Friday, 17 April 2009 was a swimming competition day. In our class, we only have Vinh, Khang, Thanh, Tony, Thinh, Quang, me and Geun Hye were swum. First, was year4 with free style one lengh. Then, year5 then our class. Me and Geun Hye was raced against each other, Geun Hye won because I was started after her. I standed at the Second. After freestyle was backstroke. I was standed at the third but I am was the only girl so I got the first prize for backstroke. It made me felt very tired after swim. Then, after lunch break, our class was studied science. Last two period our class did not study Maths, so we went to the soccer field and played soccer. It was a tired day but it's the great day for me in this week. When I back home, my arms and my legs hurt so much, but I think it will be a second chance to swim again.

Bad Day

Yesterday was very terrible day because I get a cold. :-(
At school, we had swimming competition. So, I stayed at swimming pool about 3 hours.
When I came back my class, I was very dizzy. And then my nose was very running!!
When I came back home, I went to the ' My Kim hospital'. Anyway, it was very terrible day for me!!!

Swimming Day

Today was a happy day ever. I didn't participate into that sport. At 2.p.m we came down to the swimming pool. At the first time, the boys in my class, they felt shy and I advised them that if they participate into that they will receive presents. When they wearing their swim suite, they shied among everybody. I see that was very ridiculous. Kieu and I guess that Trung or Duc will be the first person. But I can't believe that Long was the first person who came to the target. I watched them with a high focus. After that, I felt tired but it was funny. When my class and my teacher came back to class. We bought coffees, sting, pepsi etc. I thought that was a small party for that.

Manchester United vs FC Porto

Last week, on Thursday, ManU had a match with FC Porto. It was a very easy game for Manchester United. At the 6th minute, Cristano Ronaldo(7) from Manchester United scored a goal by a super duper long range shoot. It was so wonderful. Ronaldo said that it was his goal of his life. He was very happy with that goal. It was assisted by Anderson(8) from his wonderful pass. The ball kept going up and got in the back of the net. It was the goal which I wouldn't forget. After that, he tried to score again by making many chances but he couldn't. There was also a dangerous freekick from FC Porto but they couldn't get through the goalkeeper, Edwin Van Der Sar(1). That match ended with the score 1:0. After the whistle had been blew, there were a lot of smiles on Manchester United's players' faces. I also had a smile on my face.

The swimming day

Today we had swimming section. I participated in 5 styles: 1 length Backstroke, Freestyle Relay, 2 length Breaststroke, Individual Medley and 1 length Breaststroke.

First of all, I took part in 1 length Backstroke. I was very worried because I had not told my teacher to register. However, I got the third place! Next, I had the 1 length Breaststroke. There were four persons in the race and I arrived at the first place. The next style was 2 length Breaststroke. Once again I was the first person to reach the mark. Individual Medley was coming next. In this style I had to swim one length Backstorke, one length Breaststorke and the last length was Freestyle. I was so tired so that I couldn't got a first place again. I could only got the second position. The last race was Freestyle Relay. There were three persons in my team. I was the first one to swim and I could manage to give my friend the advantage. After that my team Won the first position.

3 English Teachers Caught for Drug Taking

Three English teachers at an elementary school and private institutes were detected for selling or taking drugs.Police arrested two Canadian instructors Thursday for the violation of the Drug Law, while booking a Korean English teacher who had studied abroad and 36 others including Thai migrant workers on the same charges.

The three teachers have taught children English for up to three years at elementary schools in Seoul and hagwon in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, according to police.Police allege they taught students while under the influence of the drugs.

The accused told police that they drank alcohol spiked with ecstasy at techno bars in Gangnam, Hongdae and Itaewon on weekends between last December and February, and the drinking parties usually lasted till the next morning.

``They said they took the drug habitually as they could not avoid the temptation of the induced feeling and the illusion that the lighting of the bars looked like a laser show,'' a police officer said.``The effect of ecstasy lasts about a day, so it is possible that they could have taught children while high after taking the drug Sunday night,'' he said.

Easter is the time for holidays, festivals and a time for giving chocolate Easter eggs. It is the oldest and the most important Christian Festival, the celebration of the death and coming to life again of Jesus Christ. For Christians, the dawn of Easter Sunday with its message of new life is the high point of the Christian year. Easter is the story of Jesus' last days in Jerusalem before his death. Jesus was killed but then, he came back to life. He didn't die but he went to the Heaven to meet God, his father.

Best week...

First day of the week, Na Young, May and me hangout at Lotte mart. For some reasons, I have to came home early. It was a bit sad that Ngoc cannot join us again. We took picture, it took a longer time than I thought it would be. We felt tired after that. Then we played some kind of card games name Uno. However, I couldn't be there until the game end. May was bit angry with my mom as she was the reason that made me to went home early.

Tuesday and Thursday are normal as usual. We studied and did our homeworks. Then played and there were nothing else.

Wednesday is a hard day. We went to Dist.2 for X-Climbing. Some of the classmate were not very good at it. Some were very good at it like Brian, Thanh and Guen Hye. When we came back to school, after finish some worksheet. We played dutch ball. I was very tired when I went back home. On the next day, almost the whole class were hurt at arm and legs as miss Serene said.

Friday was the Soccer Match between SIS and RISS, both girls and boys played it. For the girl, it was tie. But the boy, they won with the score is 1-0. After that there were a heavy rain, the boys got no chance to shake hand to each other.

Great week!!

On Monday, I went to Lotte Mart with Na Young and Nhu. We took some sticker pictures. We ate at KFC. After Nhu went back home, I and Na Young sat at KFC and played a game called Uno. It was fun. After that, we were still hungry so we buy some hotdogs, they were so yummy.
At last, when we go back from Lotte Mart Na Young came to my house to play with me, at about 5 p.m she went back home. That day was fun.

On Wednesday, our class went for Rock climbing at X-Rock. I sat with Geun Hye on the bus. When I saw the rock i thought it would be easy to climb there. When i started to climb, it was not easy as i thought, it was hard for me. I kept falling and kept trying. At least I climbed the beginner rock. I tried the the medium rock, it was not easy too. I can't climb to the top. Anyway Rock climbing day was awesome and a good lesson to trust somebody else.

On Friday, it's a soccer match. Some of my friend said the girls team will lose, like Hyuk Joon, Khang and Nhu but we didn't the girls team was a tie. For the boys team, they won. I was so nervous that I had a tummy ache. At the game, most of the girls were ready to play expect for me, I was still thinking that I need alot more trainning, but no need cause it was a tie.

On Saturday, It was Nhu's birthday. I tried to ask some people to go there. All there answers i got are: no, maybe, busy, I have to go somewhere else. But at least some people did come. There were Ngoc, me, Brian and Nhu of course. So we sang some songs and ate spagetti. I tried to invite Geun Hye but her phone was off, and i also invited Thanh, Hyuk Joon, Jun Beom and Hoo Yee, but they can't come.

Today, which is Sunday. I and my Family went to look for some apartment. We finally found one. But it's far from my school. The apartment is called My Vien. There was 1 room my mom and I liked alot. It's with a good prize and good place. So we agreed with the owner and the Agents.

This week was so much fun than the other weeks. I am going to move my house soon and I'm going to invite some of you to come and celebrate at my new apartment. Just so you know, I just bought a soccer ball. So I am going to play with it when Ngoc and Nhu come to my place.

My birth day

on saturday,I went to the school. That time I met friends, We learn about science and mathematics. We finished lesson, we went to my Lottemart with Jun Beom,Jea Young,Hyuk Joon. Because Hyuk Joon, Jun Beom want bought present give to me. We went to the my house take a bus. At lunchtime, we arrived my house, we did party with friends.Later we played PSP,Playtation,computergame,cardgame and other friends came my house.
I played hide-and-seek with friends at home. At night I slept with Jun Beom, Hyuk Joon, Jae Young. but jun beom always so noise because jae young so funny, but on saturday I am very funny.I want again slept with friends.

The football match

On Saturday, at everning I and my brothers were watchng the televison. It was about football. The team was Liverpool vs Blackburn. Liverpool won the match at the score was 4-0. At the first 5 minute ( Torres from Liverpool ) was score for Liverpool 1-0. Later, againt (Torres) scored 2-0 for Liverpool. Then, (Agger) from Liverpool was score 3-0 for Liverpool. Then, the last 90 minute (Ngog) from Liverpool was score for Liverpool at the score was 4-0

sleep with my friends

On Saturday, I, Ji Seog, Jun Beom, and Jae Young went to school for IPSLE class. Ji Seog said that that day was his birthday! We didn't know it. And he asked us that come to his house and sleep together. But I had to go to Korean School but I don't want it so I asked my mother that can I go to his house and sleep together. She permitted to go to his house and sleep so we packed our clothes and games. First, we went to Lotte Mart for buy his present. But I don't have enough money so I shared the money with my friends. We bought a game of PSP that it is called Undercover. It was too expensive because the price was 660000 VND. After buying present, we went to Ji Seog's house and sleep. It made me exciting and laughing. I slept at 3:00 and got up at 4:00 because of Jae Young's alarm. So I was really tired but I like ti because I slept with my friends!

Rock Climbing at X-Rock

On Wednesday, our class Y6 Int'l went rock climbing. That day, I arrived at school early as some children in my bus didn't go to school. In the meantime, I listened to music on my Ipod until Ms. Serene and Mr. Robert arrived. Then we embarked on our journey. The bus was a little too small to carry a class of 25 students but we squeezed ourselves together. The journey to X-rock was quite long because the driver went the same way two times but we were prepared as we brought our games which kept us entertained through the journey. We arrived at our destination after an hour and 30 min.

There we kept our bags on the chairs and warmed ourselves up by doing some exercise which took about 20 min. Then the ground staff had a talk with us and explained to us what to do in a very simple way. It was then that we started climbing the easiest stage which was about 4 meters high. The rule was if you could not do a level, you cannot advance to the next stage.

In the the first period, I did stage 1 to stage 3. Then it was time for lunch so I ate my school lunch which was fried rice with chicken. It was very delicious and i enjoyed it very much. After eating, we played some games and bought drinks for an hour before climbing again. And that time, I climbed stage 4 and half of stage 5. The best climbers were Bryan, Thanh and geun hye who all tried to climb the expert level but none of them succeeded. Then it started to rain heavily, so we packed our belongings as fast as we could and hurried in the bus.

Surprisingly, the way to school was faster than the journey to X-Rock. But in ho chi minh, there was no rain at all. When we arrived at school, it was time for break so we had the break and came back to class to fill an after action review.

At 3.30p.m, we went downstairs to play dodgeball boys vs. girls and the final score was 2:2.

It was the best day at school!!!

friend is very important.It can be good but, sometimes, it is bad for you.If you want to make good best friend,you have to talk a lot.while you talk,you have to be careful of course because if you say something bad to other people that is bad for them and bad for you.friend can control me and help or solve problem for me.talk a lot with your normal friend,make you and your friend relation ship closer.sometimes we fight with our friend but small thing is not to be big problem, because we can understand each other.be good to your friend it is good for you.

Manchester United's hero! Macheda

Firstly who is he? He is an Italian, he was born in Rome and he is just 17 years old. Manu signed him right on his seventeenth birthday from Lazio. His family was very poor, they live in a slum in Rome. Until one day, Manu discovered his talent and immediately signed him. But after more than half a year have to played as a academy player he was about to give up but luckily Sir Ales Ferguson saw his great talent and called him up to the first team. And he didn't disappoint Sir Alex, he made Ferguson so proud of him.

But what did he done so far? He had rescue Manu two times by scoring goals at important times. First, he scored a beautiful goal at injuries time when Manu was tying Aston Villa 2-2 and helped Manu won 3-2. Secondly, he had just scored a lucky goal yesterday, from Carrick 's strong but inaccurate kick Macheda had luckily touched the ball and made goal and help Manu won 2-1. He also help his family from the poor.

                           

Rock-Climbing Trip

Last Wednesday, our class organized a trip to X-rock. We started at 8:45 and arrived at 10:15. On the bus, we played many games and talked with our friends about the trip. At the X-rock, there were 3 rocks. The first rock was so small so we climbed very quickly. Only Tony was very slow. After 15 minutes, he has finished it. The second rock was so high. Everybody have finished just only me. I have to try two times. The third rock was the tallest, I didn't finish it because I was so tired and I didn't want to continue. I felt this trip was very interesting and funny. I hope my class will organize another trip to discover new things that I didn't see.

ROCK CLIMBING

On Wednesday 8 April, our class went for rock climbing. It was very fun, and I had study how to climb on rock. At first, I thought it was difficult to me fo climb, but after the instructution from the groundstaff, it is kind of easy. After 2 hours climbed, our class went for lunch at 12:00. I felt that my hands nearly break out, so I realax my hands by play PSP. Then, at 12:30 our class went for climb again, but I don't. I felt very tired and hot so I need to sit at the shadow. But, at 13:00, it's rain our class and Miss.Serene also Mr.Robert have to get on the bus and back to school early than the schedule Miss.Serene had decided. On 2:15, we are back to class and whole class felt very very tired, acxept Tony he didn't climb even he scare to put his feet up the rock. At 2:30 we had afternoon break. Then, 2:45, Miss. Serene has decided for our class to play Dutch ball. We had a great time for whole day played. When I back home, my feet and my arms felt hurt, but that's okay, because myself and our class had a good time on Wednesday.

Bad Day

Yesterday, I could not believe that I'm standing in FIFTH position. How could I can be like that. My best friend had that dream. She dreamed that she would win me. Then, she was succeeded when I was a loser. I'm bad in one subject, just only one then they pull me down. Every marks I've are higher than her. I'm bad in Biology. When I have test. I didn't study and remember carefully. I've got low marks for 2 test. Yesterday was a bad bad bad bad day. I have detention for English, EPP and then I have got all the marks of every subjects and I saw a low mark. I compared it with my friends. They see that I'm much better than her. I'm a monitor. I'm not happy about that before. I just proud about my achievement that I've got in term 1 and 2. I have to listen to my friends all the yesterday. They're so talkative. I complained a lot of time with my parents but they said that I'm older than my friends. I have to set an example for everybody in my class. I accepted that. Yesterday, I was crying alone outside the class. Friends did not complain or ask something. They know what they have to do in that time. They did not make me feel better after that. I will give up!

Rock climbing at X rock

On Wednesday, my classmates and I went to X Rock. It took us one hour to reach there. In the bus we played our NDS and PSP. In X Rock the staffs game us equipment for us to wear. He told us what we need to know about rock climbing. We did our warm ups and started to climb. When I tried, I could not climb. Then I waited for a while. I tried again and I did it. The second time I did it, it was easier. Later we had lunch. There was a store their. I bought a drink. When I came out, behind the rock was a swimming pool. Later Brian, Thanh and Guen Hye climbed higher. All of them went about till the middle. Guen Hye could have gone higher but it started to rain. It took a shorter period of time to reach back to school. In school Miss Serene game us a form for us to fill in. Then we played dodge ball. It was an experience I will never forget.

Rock climbing

I though rock climbing war very scary. However, when I tried that, It was funny!! But very tired. If I have get opportunity, I want to try again. I can't gorget that forever!
At first time, it is very difficult for me because I have sweat a lot. At first time, I couldn't!!
But!! I did!! I want to try again~!!

Rock climbing was very exciting.
There was a very big supermarket.
Heajin and Younjae bought icecreams.
I, Heajin, Geunhye, Jieun and Younjae played one-card in lunch time.
(We didn't play with money.)
Mr Robert saw that and came to our table.
He saw for some minutes and went somewhere.
Lunchtime was the funniest.

Sound Horizen is Japanese singer group.
Their songs are very good.
Especially their album called 'Roman' and 'Elysion and fantasy story' is so good.
Their songs and album have each story.
The story in 'Elysion and fantasy story' is very scary.
The song in 'Elysion and fantasy story' called 'Yield' is the scarist.
Their all songs are made by leader of Sound Horizen called 'Revo'.

I like 'Ark', 'Yield', 'beautiful thing' and 'sacrifice' the most.
These songs are usually scary but songs are good.

make a chees cake!

Materials.

1. digestive biscuits

2.butter

3.cheese

4.cream

5.sugar

6. creamfraiche

7.lemonjelly

Method.

1.Make the jelly with the half of the required liquid.

2. Crush the biscuits, and mix whith the malted butter.

3.place the cake ring on a plate, spread the biscuit mixture evenly and cool in the fridge .

5. Cream, cheese, mix cheese with icing sugar, venilla, sugarr and creame fraiche add the whipped cream and cooled jelly, mix it all together.

6.pure the mixture on the biscuits and leave to cool in the fridge over night.

8. decorate with some fruits and physalis before serving

X-Rock Climbing

On wednesday this week, we went to X-Rock. It was a long journey there. But I had fun in the bus playing PSP, NDS and listening to music. When we arrived, we put our bags down. We wore the safety suit and helmet. After that, we were ready to climb. At first, some people did the green wire and some people did the blue wire. Green one was much easier, I suppose. I did the blue one too but I couldn't complete it because I had some problem with my left leg. After that, It was lunch time. I ate lunch and played some games. After that, Brian tried the highest one. He stopped at some point because the foot holds were too far to reach. After Brian, Thanh tried the same one but also stopped at some point because of the same problem. After Thanh, Geun Hye tried it but also stopped in the middle because It started to rain. We had to come back earlier than the schedule because the rain was very heavy. It was much shorter going back. We arrived just before break. So we had a break. We came upstairs and Miss Serene told us to fill in some form. After filling the form, the whole class played dodgeball at the courtyard. It was really fun. That day was very good.

What an amazing match!

The match took place at 1:45am thursday 9 April. Barcelona hosted Bayern Munchen in Nou Camp stadium. It was the quater final of Champion League. At 9th minute, Messi scored the first goal for Barcelona. Eto'o scored the second goal for Barcelona at 18th minute. 20 minutes later, Messi gained the third goal for the host team. 2 minutes before the break, Henry stunned the audience with the fourth goal. The suprise was that only in the first half, Barcelona

could score four goals, but the second half had no goal. This match would put an end to the way for Bayern Munchen to go to the semi-final. We are looking forward to the returning match.

Park to Train in US Ahead of World Tourney

Beijing Olympic swimming gold medalist Park Tae-hwan will begin a special training session in the United States next week ahead of the World Championship in July.

"Park will head to the U.S. on April 16 and start his six-week training at the University of Southern California. He will return in late May," Yonhap News Agency quoted his agency SK Telecom Sports Team as saying Tuesday.Park, who seized 400-meter men's freestyle gold and 200-meter silver in Beijing last year, trained at the same venue in January. He will be coached by Dave Salo again, according to his agent.

The 19-year-old swimmer, aiming to clinch victory in the 400-meter men's freestyle event at this year's World Championship tournament in Rome, will focus on developing endurance to compete better in longer events as well as on making a faster turn to break his own record.

Big soccer match

Today we had a big soccer match with RISS. I didn't know that we had
soccer match in the afternoon but I knew we had soccer match today from Mr.Robert in the morning. I was surprised about that so I wanted watch soccer match. At 1:35p.m the soccer match was begin. First match was teachers vs year 10's(?) soccer player and that was 5 vs5. At 2:20p.m
the RISS's soccer players were came to SIS. First match was girl's match and it became same score,0:0. After girls match the boys match was began and there were Thanh,Shanil,Hyuk joon, Khang and Jiseok too.
In second half someone(I not sure to name of boy) made goal and than Thanh made goal too. So soccer match was 0:2. SIS was won again it is third win with RISS. I was so interesting and fun today.

International Year 6 Outdoor Adventure Learning

As part of our continuing effort to build on class camaraderie, we left the classroom for a day this week and went rock climbing. Just how cool is that huh? For most of us, this was our first try at sports climbing. We were apprehensive and somewhat daunted by the height of the rock wall when we first saw it. Could we really do this? Our fears were dispelled as soon as we got a go at it. The first time is always the hardest. Once we got the hang of things, subsequent tries became a lot more enjoyable and fulfilling - we ended up having so much fun. Not only did we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we also took back with us some invaluable lessons.
