The Colony of Year 6

We are a class of 26 students studying at the Singapore International School in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Year 6 is the culminating academic year group for our primary school education which is based on the Singapore Curriculum. We are hence a pretty busy lot of people in school but we're loving what we do in school daily. Here is a blog of us, our interests, our pursuits and everything else we can think of. International Women's Day

International Women' Day(IWD) it in 8 March every year. It is a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women. It also have a history in Vietnam. It was a day that two women rode elephants to deafeat a very strong men and evil. It was win in 8 March. So that in In some celebrations, the day lost its political flavour, and became simply an occasion for men to express their love to the women around them in a way somewhat similar to Mother's Day and St Valentine's Day mixed together.

In every 8 March, my father alway give my mother special gift or go out resturant to celebrate a International Women' Day.
