My interesting holiday

On Sunday, I went to the Lotte Mart because I need to buy my new mp3 earphone. I love my new mp3 earphone.HA-HA-HA This colour is blue. So it looks very cooooooooool!!!
I went Dist.1, I went to the Ben Thanh market because my sister need to buy "ao dai" and I bought white sandals and then, I went FAHASA. So, I bought so many books~!!!!Finally, I came back Phu My Hung and I went Korean restaurant. It was delicious. When i go back home, I was very tired~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!>_<

Baseball game

On Friday, I asked Thanh, Jae Young, and Jun Beum to play baseball in Grand View. The agreed to play baseball so that we met and went to Grand View. There were many friends who were playing baseball. So we joined the baseball match. Firstly, we made two teams. Thanh brought tennis ball and I brought bat and gloves. So we started playing baseball. It was very exciting. Despite it was the first game of Thanh, he played well at throwing. I also played very well. I had 2 home runs. I was really happy because I had 2 home runs. Thanh, Jaeyoung, Junbeum and me were always same team. And we always won. When it was dark, we need to go back home. I and Thanh walked to our home because his house and my house are very near. We were talking about the match until I reached home. I said Good Bye to Thanh and went in my house. I hope we played again.

My first time to play baseball

It was on Friday night. I played with 3 of my closest friend, Hyuk Joon, Jae Young, Jun Beom and my brother, Sam. First, I didn't know the rules so Hyuk Joon had to show me how to play. It was quite easy. We just have to hit the ball and run to the 4 angle of the pitch. I think I played quite well as I scored about 5 points. Everybody enjoyed it very much except for Sam. He didn't get chance to hit the ball because my friends throw too strong. On Sunday night we will play again. I'm looking forward to the match.

Earth Hour In Vietnam

Korea defeats Iraq in Football Friendly

The South Korean football team beat Iraq 2-1 in its tune-up match for North Korea on Saturday night in Suwon.Korea, which struggled in execution in front of goal in the first half, allowed Iraq to take control of the game on defender Hwang Jae-won's own goal seven minutes into the second half. Kim Yeon Ah

Today, Korean athlete called Kim Yeon Ah won '2009 ISU international figure skating competition'. Her score was a new record in figure skating. She also won Asada Mao.
She is a Japanese and as same age as Kim Yeon Ah. Asada Mao's job was good but today, Kim Yeon Ah's job was much better. Kim Yeon Ah's score was 76.12 but Asada Mao's score was only 66.06. Koreans were very proud and pleasure. However, in many Japanese website, many Japaneses were angry at lost to Korean athlete and said bad things about Kim Yeon Ah.
I don't understand why they post things like that. I understand how they feel sad for that but I also angry at Japanese. They felt very proud and posted disregard things about Korean and Korea. And now, they are posting bad things about lost to Korean and Kim Yeon Ah. Poor Kim Yeon Ah, she just won in the game. How dare they say bad things about them.

WBC

WBC is World Baseball Classic. It held on 5 March to 24 March.
In this tournament, Korea finished second. Korean team played four games with Japenese team and Korean team won for two games. I inconvenience to Korean team lost in the final.
Our rival was Japanese team.
Usually, when Korean team and Japanese team play or fight each other Both Korean and Japanese are sharp. It is why I was so sad for Korean team lost to Japanese team.
But, I was proud in this tournament, too. It is because in first WBC they didn't get any price.
In next WBC and all baseball games, Korean will win Japanese team and win all games.

What is Earth Hour

Earth Hour is an international event organised by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature/World Widelife Fund), and held on the last Saturday of March each year, which asks households and business to turn off their non-essential lights and electical appliances for one hour to raise awarness towards the need take action on climate change. Earth hour was conceived by WWF Australian and the Sydney Morning Herald in 2007, when 2.2 milion residents of Sydney participated by turning of all non-essential lights. Following Sydney's lead, many other cities around the world adopted the event in 2008 .

My own Laptop

A few hours ago, my father came home by a taxi. When he was still downstairs, he called me and said to come downstairs to help him carry carry a big box. So, we went downstairs, and took the box.
While carrying it, i was thinking why the box had a big drawing of a laptop and it was also written ASUS on it. Then, i asked my father if he bought me a laptop but he said no and asked me why was the box so light. Then i really thought that it was an empty box.
Even when we arrived home, i opened it but there was nothing in it.

I heard my father laughing and pointing at the sofa. When i looked at the sofa, i was so surprised. There was a laptop bag and i opened it and saw a laptop and all the accessories needed for it. I was overjoyed as i wanted one for my birthday (its been a very looongg time).

My laptop is an ASUS F80 SERIES, DUO P8400. It has an inner -built web cam, a dvd player but my favorite part is that it is very hard to find the on button.

In mauritius, i had 2 computers but 1 broke and i gave the other one to my cousin but i like this one the most as it is better and it is a newer model.

Friends

Good friends are difficult to find. In my class, this was happened. His name is Long, he is a naughty boy in my class. He always be noisy. I don't hate him but he made me angry all the time. I helped him, and he didn't care about that. In class, I'm the one who care about him too much. He doesn't know that I'm his friend. I still help anytime, even I'm busy but he's asking me to help then I'm ready to help him. Which way I should go? Leave him alone? I don't think that is a good way. If he doesn't want me to help him anymore. I won't do that. It's ok. I will find other friends much better than him. Everybody who doesn't need help. I also need help from my friends, my teachers, my parents. He thought that he was good enough and he doesn't need help. He is genius. He is the one who makes a lot of mistakes in class. I want to help him better. Because I'm the monitor. I know what should I do. My teacher said that I have to help everybody in the class. Someday he will get bad consequences because he had bad behaviors with his friends. He doesn't need us. I won't care about him anymore. He was not a good friend I ever had. I love my class but I don't want to help friends like him. That's all my feelings.

Last weekday korea team have achived runner up at world baseball classic

Last whole week every single korean people were into world baseball classic.
Nobody expected that Korean baseball team played so well. They won over Venezuela which
known to be one of the srtongest baseball team in the world.
I was so proud of our team, and finally we made until final.
We played against Japan which we already played 4times before in this tonerment.
We won twice and lost twice. This time it was 5th match with Japan.
Nobody guessed who could win as both team were equally strong, unfortunately Korean team lost, but it was great played, every player did at their best.

Mars domes may be 'mud volcanoes'

Scientists say the possible discovery of mud volcanoes on Mars could boost the search for the planet's past life.

If life on Mars ever existed, that would be so cool. The evidence could be buried deep below the surface, where it may be warm enough for water to remain in a liquid state.

Mud volcanoes can transport rocks from depths of several kilometers up to the surface, where robotic explorers could reach them.

These details were presented by the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in Texas.
Using the images taken by NASA’s Mars Odyssey spacecraft, Carlton Allen and Dorothy Oehler of NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston identified dozens of mounds in the northern plains of Mars which they say bear a striking resemblance to mud volcanoes.

Infrared data also show that the domes cool more quickly at night than the surrounding rock, as one might expect if they were made of sediment.

Together with David Baker from Brown University, the researchers used instruments like the NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) to observe some of these structures in a northern region known as Acidalia Planitia.
Data from the MRO's Chrism experiment indicate that the material in the domes is more oxidized than the rock of the surrounding plains. This might suggest the presence of iron oxides, which form in the presence of liquid water.

They also took pictures of the structures with the Hi Rise camera on MRO; the images show the bright domes standing out against the dark basaltic rock of the surrounding plains.

I hope if that life exists on Mars. I hope that they will not invade earth.

The World Baseball Classic (WBC) finished its 20-day journey, Tuesday, with fans of the sport happy after a near three-weeks worth of enjoyment of the art of the small white ball. Korean and Japanese fans were particularly ``blessed,'' having had five rival games on which to feast during the event.

And, following the two Asian nations' magnificent rise to the summit of the Classic, the Korean team was given more reason for cheer: The WBC announced its all-star tournament team after the final match ― and four of its number were included. They were first baseman Kim Tae-kyun, third baseman Lee Bum-ho, designated hitter Kim Hyun-soo, who played outfielder, and pitcher Bong Jung-keun.

Kim Tae-kyun was selected unanimously along with Cuban outfielder Frederich Cepeda. He claimed top spot in RBIs, earning 11 and shared the top spot in homers with three. He was also called ``terminator Kim,'' because he hit when the team needed it.

Hip Hop is not as simple as you think!

What is Hip Hop? Hip Hop is a music genre and cultural developed in New York in the early of the 1970s. It not just music, it included Mc'ing or Rhythm And Poetry (often called Rapping), fDJing (to mix the music),graffiti writing, and breakdancing. And other stuff like beat-boxing, hip hop fashion and slang. It now had spread all around the world. As it is the best way for young people to express their mind. They express their mind through hip hop by writing graffiti, when they sad the words become very strong and sharp when they are happy their words become very 'soft' and circular. Rapping is the most popular as it show the composer felling and it rhythm sound very nice. But it usually contains bad words. Beat-boxing is very entertain as it is very fun and the beat-boxers make a lot of incredible sounds using their mouth. Breakdancing mostly dance using the dancer's arms and pretending to be robots so dancers have to have strong arms in order to do breakdancing. 

Now a lot of singer choose hip hop to perform as it is very popular. Most of the hip hop singers are black-skin. There are a lot of good singer but my favorite is Lil'Wayne he is very good with a lot of good songs like Lollipop, Got Money,etc. He usually sings together with T-Pain. Myanmar, Began

Began is one of the beautiful place to visit in Myanmar. It's a temple, many foreigners visit Began to pray, take pictures and look at the beautiful sunset. Began is a place that was dated for 1500 years ago of history, it is the most interesting place. Long time ago, historical things have happened in began and still now it's the culture for burmese people to remember.

There are many temples to visit. When I went there for 2 days, I have visited a temple. I and my father went up with the stairs. It was in the evening, so when we went to the top we saw a beautiful sunset, and top there it was windy and crouded. I will show you some pictures.

7 kids and 7 adults died in Montana plane crash

At 3h27 p.m. in Montana,a federal investigators arrived early Monday in Butte, Montana, to investigate the crash of a private airplane that left seven children and seven adults dead.The flight was headed to Bozeman, Montana, but was rerouted to Butte instead, said FAA spokesman Mike Fergus. My brother

It is nearly the day my brother will go to America for studying. So, today i will write something about him.

My brother's name is Nguyen Dinh Manh Duy, he was born in 22th of september 1991. My brother is very friendly and very kind. He always helps me to solve my problems, always beside me and gives me good advises. Moreover, he usually study with me and then play with me. We usually play game together and my brother often let me win. I will never forget my travel with him and our family to HongKong, especially our travel to Vung Tau-my hometown.

This weekend he will go to America, and maybe when he comes back I am studying in Australia. It will be difficult to see and play with him for next years. But I hope he will be successful in America and he can visit me in Australia. I will miss you, good luck my brother!

A lot of homework

In term 3 and 4, I will have a lot of homework. I always haven't finished all the homework. Sometimes, I have to study until 1.20 a.m. I'm very tired but I don't have another ways to solve this trouble. I see my friends still finished their homework like everyday before. Why did I couldn't finish it? May be I was stress when I went to International Y6 for English. I was scared too much. Then I stressed. I couldn't focus to study in my class. My uncle told me that when I'm not going home soon. Then I have to spend time at school to do 2/5 homework. At home, my sisters always disturb me all the time I study. I've got bad marks for some subjects in midterm test. My father was disappointing very much. I have to focus more to get higher marks in term 4. I will try all my best in the next term.

ManU vs Fulham

On Saturday at 10p.m. ManU and Fulham had a match. It was an another awful match after losing Liverpool. It was Fulham home. In the first half, Paul Scholes(18) from ManU was sent off after handling a Bobby Zamora(9) goal-bound header in the 17th minute. So, Fulham got a panelty and Danny Murphy(13) scored and the score was 0:1 Fulham leading the match. The first half ended with the score 0:1. In the second half, Wayne Rooney(10) from ManU was sent off. Another player sent off! A really bad news for ManU. And then in the 87th minute, Zoltan Gera(11) scored an another goal for Fulham. ManU was hopeless. And the match ended with the score 0:2 and Man U had lost again.

On Friday

On Friday, I cut my hair. During I cut my hair, my mother's neighbour came. After I cut my hair, we went to Sarpino. But I wasn't hungry so I went to Grandview. There were a lot of my friends were played baseball. I joined with them. However, our team was losing. The score was 5:0. But from I joined the match, we are going to win. At the last inning, we ended up the match clearly. We won 11:7. Our team was happy. Of course me too. I was really happy because I won the match and played baseball for a long time. I would like to go to Grandview and play baseball again.

Baby in right-to-life battle dies

A seriously ill baby, whose parents lost a court battle to keep him alive on a ventilator, has died.

The baby is known as "Baby OT" died. Baby OT was a boy. Baby OT was only nine month old. He had a had brain damage, respiratory failure and a rare metabolic disorder.

His parents appealed against a ruling at London's High Court that it would be the best if he did "life-sustaining treatment".

The British Medical Association known as (BMA) supported the doctors' actions, as did some Christian groups.

Baby OT was unable to breathe by himself and died at 10.08 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time after doctors withdrew his treatment.

His parents said that they were "deeply distressed" by the decision and said the life of their boy was worth preserving.

He died peacefully. The couple said through their solicitor after the death was announced. During his short time with them, Baby OT became the focus of their lives. They were present during his last moments, together with his extended family.

So the reasonable name was made for the 14th March, a month later than Vallentine's Day. And the rule, boys must give something their girl friends in return for presents, was spreaded widely. A lot of Korean have wrong idea that this day is celebrated in other countrys like Valentine's Day. In addition to White Day, Black Day, Yellow Day, Blue Day and other color days are known for 14th day of the following months. They are not as famous as White Day. I think that the most delighted people in those days are merchants.

New animal seen in Tanzania

A new creature has been discovered in the mountains of the African country Tanzania. It’s name is Rhynochocyon udzungwensis, it’s the size of a cat and looks like a cross between a tiny antelope and a small ant eater.The mammal has a grey face, a long, flexible snout, a tubby, amber-colored body, a jet-black behind and it stands on spindly legs.It weight 700g and measuring about 30cm in length.The creature is a type of giant elephant shrew or sengi and lives on insects that it flicks up with its long nose.

A famous structure was Patuxay.It was built in 1960s to celebrate the independence struggle.

Laos's climate is tropical.Rainy season start from May to November and dry season start from December to April.Some local traiditions hold that there are three seasons(cold, rainy, hot).

Laos is also a home of Indochinese tiger, giant guar and Asian elephant.Laos is also known as "Million Elephants Country" because there are alot of elephant in Laos.

Most of Laos's people followed Buddist.Only a few which are Christian.Laos's traditional music instrument is called the Khaen.It is usually made of bamboo pipe.The khaen traditionally accompany by the singer in lam.Among of all Iam styles, the Iam saravane is the most popular.

My Birthday party

My birthday is 16 of March but it will be on Monday. So my parents decided to throw a party for my birthday on Saturday which is 14 of March. I had invited almost all the boys in class. I'm very happy that everybody that I had invited had come. Most of them came to my house very early and stayed back very late except for Shanil, he just stayed for about 30 minutes. I had received alot of present from them. It was very fun.

After 30 minutes, their other neighbor(Ham○○) brought no trademarks wine. On Saturday night at 7:40, ManU and Liverpool had a match. I was so excited about it as Manchester United is my favourite team. It was so far so good in the first 20 minutes. And then,
Park Ji Sung(13) made a panelty! So Christiano Ronaldo(7) scored and Manchester United was leading the match. But after 5 minutes, Fernando Torres(9) from Liverpool scored a goal. And then just before the first half had almost ended, Patrice Evra(3) from ManU made a panelty for Liverpool! So Steven Gerrard(8) scored a goal from the panelty. The First Day Of Korean School In HCMC

On Saturday, I went to Korean School. Now I am a middle school student. It was very different from primary school. In my classroom, I met Se Keon. I was really happy. We help each other. Se Keon had studied in Korean School so I asked him a lot of things.

Today is the first day of school so we did self introduction. Everybody was ashamed so they did not say loudly. After self intriduction, our teacher asked me and my friend to go to science lab for get our books. However, most of my friends go to science lab. In my class, there was no boy. We carried 2 books for each person. It was realy light. After gave books to class, we studied the books.

It was really funny. Our teacher was really kind and funny teacher. My friends was also kind and cool.

Coatings that 'self-heal' in sun

I found this in BBC.

Scientists have devised a coating that when scratched heals itself upon exposure to sunlight.

This research was done by University of Southern Mississippi.The secret of the material is using molecules made from chitosan, which comes from the shells of crabs and other crustaceans.

In the event of a scratch or a chemical reaction that patches the damage.
The work by University of Southern Mississippi researchers was reported in the journal Science.
They designed molecules joining ring-shaped molecules called oxetane with something call chitosan.
The custom-made molecules were added to a standard mix of polyurethane, a popular varnishing material that is also used in products ranging from soft furnishings to swimsuits.

Scratches or damage to the polyurethane coat split the oxetane rings, revealing loose ends that are highly likely to chemically react with each other.

In the ultraviolet light provided by the sun, the chitosan molecules split in two, joining to the oxetane's reactive ends.

When you create a scratch. That scratch will disappear upon exposure to the sun. A number of self-healing composites have been developed in recent years, many of which depend on the inclusion of capsules or hollow fibres filled with glue-like materials.

A scratch or crack ruptures the capsules or fibres, and the glue fixes the damage.
By contrast, the new approach only requires adding a tiny amount of the doctored molecules to the mix.
"There's still work to do, but we're on the right track with the current chemistry - which is not very complicated," said Professor Urban.

It has tremendous potential for improving the properties of materials. The well-established nature of polyurethane in such a wide range of manufacturing could see a number of benefits, not least the self-healing car paint job. ''Clearly, there are future applications of this work in the repair of automotive components, which extensively use polyurethane polymers," said Professor Howell Edwards, a chemist at the University of Bradford.

Suddenly Lee sung yeop hit the ball very nicely so ball being to hoom run. He made first foom run on 10th march so this was second hoom run of Pro Japanese Baseball's exhibition game. I'm just reading an article about children in Tanzania and I thought you might be interested in this series of pictures that came along with it. The article (and pictures) illustrate the state of primary education in a country less blessed and developed as any of ours. There is the mention of teaching children about HIV prevention in school - which really rings a bell as we have just completed a unit of work about the different lifestyle of children the world over. There was a similar point in one of the texts which we were studying on about the lifestyle of children in Uganda.

The colony of year 6

The most delicious crab soup in the world!!!

Yesterday, my mom bought two crabs. She freed them in the basin for about an hour(my brother was crazy at them). Then, my mom put them in the freezer for about 45 minutes. Guess what, they were still alive. One of the crabs almost pinched me when I tried to touch it. I took some pictures of the evil crabs. My mom put the crabs back in the freezer before she went to bed and she cooked it today, we had it for supper and it was very delicious.^_^
It was also the first time my mom cooked a crab when we were in a foreign country.

NASA launches the Earth hunter probe

I saw this on the latest headlines on BBC news using the internet.

The mission of sending the Kepler telescope was to search the sky for Earth-like planets with the potential to host life. It was launched from cape Canaveral in Florida.

The telescope will orbit the sun to watch a patch of space. Scientists think it will contain about 100,000 stars like ours. I wish that they really find a planet which is similar to ours. Even if they do, it will take a lot of time to build a rocket which will be powerful enough to reach the planet.

The satellite will continue searching for planets for 4 - 6+ years. Here is what Dr. Edward weiler said during lift-off "This is a historical mission; it's not just a science mission,

"I maintain that it really attacks some very basic human questions that have been part of our genetic code since that first man or woman looked up into the sky and asked the question: 'are we alone?'.

The Kepler is the first satellite which is designed to find rocky worlds orbiting sun-like stars. I think that the satellite may explode because of the heat.

I think men have to thank their wives or their mother for feed our family. Because women always work for their family. Most of women only work for their family and they did not play because they have to feed their son so that they have no time to play. These are the informations about Wonder Girls . Wonder Girls had stopped all activities after attending all major song festivals at the end of last year. They were then on vacation with each of them busy with their own activities. They are currently in America now as guests for “The JYP Tour” and just had 4,000 fans going crazy over them in New York last week. Their next stop is Los Angeles on 8th March, this Saturday.
